NOTE: I do not subscribe to any religion. I once believed in Masoretic Text translations until I dug deeper and came to a different conclusion during my search through Christian denominational teachings, their leaders, and the roots of how they started, while reading the Bible itself verse by verse a few times (many translations) or more to match up their beliefs to the spiritual book they claim to follow and believe in themselves. If you ask me what I believe, I would say what the scholarly census has agreed upon, even if the decision board doesn't agree with them because they're worried about the faith of humanity for what they were taught to believe despite it contradicting evidence. Anything I've studied, watched, read is added here to help you see how I got to this point to help others who are curious too.
(Their own Literature/Articles, with my raw notes/commentary in blue. Forgive me, by the end I get pretty sassy. However, this is my own site and in my "why post" I tell you how I will sometimes write, so...but I did try)
What they tell their people.
Jehovah’s Witnesses, in their eagerness for Jesus’ second coming, have suggested dates that turned out to be incorrect. Because of this, some have called them false prophets. Never in these instances, however, did they presume to originate predictions ‘in the name of Jehovah.’ Never did they say, ‘These are the words of Jehovah.’ The Watchtower, the official journal of Jehovah’s Witnesses, has said: “We have not the gift of prophecy.” (January 1883, page 425) “Nor would we have our writings reverenced or regarded as infallible.” (December 15, 1896, page 306) The Watchtower has also said that the fact that some have Jehovah’s spirit “does not mean those now serving as Jehovah’s witnesses are inspired. It does not mean that the writings in this magazine The Watchtower are inspired and infallible and without mistakes.” (May 15, 1947, page 157) “The Watchtower does not claim to be inspired in its utterances, nor is it dogmatic.” (August 15, 1950, page 263) “The brothers preparing these publications are not infallible. Their writings are not inspired as are those of Paul and the other Bible writers. (2 Tim. 3:16) And so, at times, it has been necessary, as understanding became clearer, to correct views. (Prov. 4:18)”—February 15, 1981, page 19.
Thats cute.
This is when its ok to go back to old publications that no one reads anymore because "old light", now they can use them though when they've been caught. Rules for thee but not for me.
Now look below.
So, does Jehovah have a prophet to help them, to warn them of dangers and to declare things to come?
IDENTIFYING THE “PROPHET”
These questions can be answered in the affirmative. Who is this prophet? The clergy of the so-called “Christian” nations hold themselves before the people as being the ones commissioned to speak for God. But, as pointed out in the previous issue of this magazine, they have failed God and failed as proclaimers of his kingdom by approving a man-made political organization, the League of Nations (now the United Nations), as “the political expression of the Kingdom of God on earth.”
However, Jehovah did not let the people of Christendom, as led by the clergy, go without being warned that the League was a counterfeit substitute for the real kingdom of God. He had a “prophet” to warn them. This “prophet” was not one man, but was a body of men and women. It was the small group of footstep followers of Jesus Christ, known at that time as International Bible Students. Today they are known as Jehovah’s Christian witnesses. They are still proclaiming a warning, and have been joined and assisted in their commissioned work by hundreds of thousands of persons who have listened to their message with belief.
Of course, it is easy to say that this group acts as a “prophet” of God. It is another thing to prove it.
crickets
9 As the canon of books of God’s Word was expanded and the Christian Greek Scriptures were added to complete the Bible, each book was written directly to the Christian congregation or to a member of the Christian congregation in its behalf. Thus the Bible is an organizational book and belongs to the Christian congregation as an organization, not to individuals, regardless of how sincerely they may believe that they can interpret the Bible. For this reason the Bible cannot be properly understood without Jehovah’s visible organization in mind.
That is…insulting.
Sorry William Tyndale and Waldensons, you never counted.
Guess CRs singled out "spiritual food" was false all along.
Breakdown article w/notes (links always at bottom)
What does it mean to be faithful? It means to be dependable, true to one’s agreements. It means ‘unswerving adherence to a person, vow or pledge.’
Do not take any vows Mat 5:33-37.
Why are we being loyal to men?
Chief of all the many faithful examples recorded in the Word of God is that of Jesus Christ.—Rev. 1:5; 3:14.
Today we have a close imitator of Jesus’ faithfulness in the “faithful and discreet slave,” who in modern times has for more than eighty years been faithfully discharging his obligation
to feed all Christ’s “domestics” with “their food at the proper time.”
John 21:17
"…Jesus said, "then feed my sheep" if that was to be a prophecy, wouldn't peter then fulfill it?
Also, one of the reasons why Catholics think they too are in charge now by receiving his "keys".
Acts 20:28
"Keep guard over yourselves and over all the flock of which the holy spirit has given you charge, as shepherds of the church of the Lord, which he won for himself by his own blood"
Was talking to church leaders not apostles, and from Paul not peter, telling them to protect the sheep. In Ephesus.
This slave gives special training to traveling representatives, missionaries and congregation overseers, as well as directing a campaign of education for the individual ministers by means of circuit servant visits, five weekly meetings, various assemblies and by publishing Bibles and Bible-study aids, chief among the latter being The Watchtower.
Did they just say the latter was the bible?
Isn't this all "works"?
This “faithful and discreet slave” is the visible representative of God’s universal organization.—Matt. 24:45-47.
This verse they are taking out of context, is talking about, in general, those that are in charge, made as elders, those that have anyone they are helping, not one singular person (as they had a couple of times, Russel and JR, or a group of chosen men at a headquarters) it was also the elders of the churches around the country. Or head of household even.
They officially say, they are Gods spokesperson/source here on earth, the Parousia they use, is Jesus came invisible, and what is actually visible is them only.
All dedicated Christian ministers are stewards, and it is required of stewards, the apostle Paul tells us, that they be found faithful. To be faithful to God we must be faithful to his visible organization.
They are saying, they are Jesus, because they just removed him here and put them in the spot of Jesus, the visible coming.
We are to put our faith in Jesus.
If you are not obeying them, then you are not obeying God. Reality is, if you're obeying men…you are NOT obeying God.
For most of these ministers their association with God’s organization is primarily with the local congregation. What does it mean to be faithful to it?—1 Cor. 4:2; 1 Pet. 4:10.
It means being dependable in bearing one’s share of the burdens of the local congregation. It means being regular in meeting attendance, giving both one’s spiritual and material support. It means being willing to accept an assignment and then proving oneself dependable by properly preparing for it and carrying it out, regardless of how humble a part it may be. It also means being dependable in the little details of the field ministry.—Luke 16:10.
To it?
By works and works and works and works? By them? Men?
What happen to…Love God with your whole heart and soul, and to love others as you love yourself? If anything was "biblically added" it was, meditate/study on scripture (which would have been OT at that time), don’t eat meat with blood, don’t be sexual immoral (which could mean stay away from idols), and don’t force Jewish/any laws onto gentiles. And to discern who is among you in the church, especially those that lead.
Loyalty also is required. Loyalty may be said to go beyond faithfulness.
Excuse me?
Hebrews 11:6
"But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him."
James 2:20-24
"But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?"
Ephesians 2:8
"For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God..."
They're saying you better be loyal to them first, before their faith in God, like…holy shit.
It emphasizes tenacity and continuance of heartfelt devotion. Loyalty to God is shown by us when we lovingly stick to him and his organization both when it is easy and when it is difficult, “through thick and thin.”
That’s not scripture.
Again, they mean THEM.
They're saying you're married to them really.
Even Jesus didn't say shit like this.
Loyalty is a loving devotion that acts as a powerful adhesive.
Jehovah God being The loyal One, it is but fitting that he should require loyalty of us. (Rev. 15:4) However, we cannot be loyal to God without being loyal to his visible earthly organization, the “faithful and discreet slave,” and the local Christian congregation which represents that “slave.”
Mind you, they think they are Jesus (above).
We represent them, not Jesus or God.
Jesus called us friends, no longer slaves, for a slave doesn't know what his master is doing.
For us to be loyal to God’s organization we must be jealous about its interests, always quick to come to its defense should any speak ill of it and ever ready to protect it against any who would seek to harm
Be there "flying monkeys".
2Th 3:6-8
Now we command you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you keep away from any brother who is walking in idleness and not in accord with the tradition that you received from us. For you yourselves know how you ought to imitate us, because we were not idle when we were with you, nor did we eat anyone's bread without paying for it, but with toil and labor we worked night and day, that we might not be a burden to any of you.
Imitate the apostles, not JW leaders.
They do not work for anyone; everyone works for them (hence this whole article about being loyal and serving them).
2Ti 3:14-15
But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from whom you learned it and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.
From the Tanak, not the watchtower publications.
They are what saves you not them.
2Ti 3:5
having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people.
They are all about looks, but they are looking similar to Wizard of Oz.
They say through their works, the bibles writings are not enough, nor Jesus's blood, but them.
2Jn 1:7-10
For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not confess the coming of Jesus Christ in the flesh. Such a one is the deceiver and the antichrist. Watch yourselves, so that you may not lose what we have worked for, but may win a full reward. Everyone who goes on ahead and does not abide in the teaching of Christ, does not have God. Whoever abides in the teaching has both the Father and the Son. If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house or give him any greeting,
His teachings, not theirs, they go by WT only, so therefore, they do not have God or Christ.
What Paul is saying, if they do not agree with it by their actions, stay away.
How to handle people like them, they want them to come to the defense of their belief and then to call critics enemies and that they don’t have God because they question the writings and teachings of the WT and GB. To not discern their teaching, is to go against the bible and the apostles
it by stealing or damaging its property. More than that, loyalty to God’s organization means backing up the local congregation committee representing it, as when that committee takes action against any who would sow division or practice uncleanness. Rather than feeling so sorry for those wrongdoers we should have feeling for the ones who have the difficult burden of weighing matters and then needing to take action.
"any who sow division".
Screw them, stick up for the people that are being attacked, and feel sorry for them even if they are wrong? Even if the one calling them out is in the right?
They are playing victim and deflecting. They are making flying monkeys out of them.
They are telling them what they should stop feeling and critical thinking. And anyone in there will read this and feel massive guilt if they had any questions.
Loyalty to God’s organization also means giving the local servants whole-souled support, being always submissive, never making the mistake of taking ourselves too seriously, as Aaron and Miriam once did.—Num. 12:1-15.
Giving their whole soul to them, not to God, the apostles, Jesus even, but to them. That’s crazy evil talk dude
Always being submissive?
To critical think is to take themselves too seriously? They want them to play dumb and stupid because that’s what they think you are.
They put themselves in the position of Moses.
Aaron and Miriam got in trouble because they were racist/condemning towards Moses's wife and led people to a false god because Moses wasn't "visible", and the people were freaking out. Sound familiar?
Loyalty to God’s organization also means being loyal to our individual Christian brothers. Do not indulge in unfavorable talk about them nor give a listening ear to others that do. Rather, come to the defense of the one thoughtlessly or willfully maligned and steer the conversation into more upbuilding channels.—1 Pet. 4:8.
That out of context verse is to stop judging the outside of the church because they will be held accountable by God. Read whole chapter.
So gaslight themselves when someone has a concern and even go to the lengths of gaslighting them as well…no wonder it is having a hard time in CSA and power-hungry elders.
In all such ways we can be faithful and loyal to God’s organization, thereby contributing to the advancement of God’s work in the earth and assuring ourselves of his approval.
If you haven't noticed yet, they mean, THEM.
*****************
From the prophetic shadows to the actual realities we observe that this God-provided channel for Christians is the collective congregation of anointed ones who serve as a prophetlike organization under the leadership of its communicating head, Christ Jesus.—Eph. 5:23.
Spiritism talk.
Therefore, to get things wrong, means they are "false prophetlike".
God provided Jesus, who sends the spirit of truth. They work just fine.
4 From King Saul’s time forward, when the nation desired to have human kings at the head of their governmental administration, Jehovah raised up devoted men known as “prophets” who served as his earthly channels of communication. Samuel was the last of the line of Israel’s “judges” and the first in the long line of “prophets” used by Jehovah for over a thousand years until John the Baptist to render guidance, reproof and calls to reform. The prophets became powerful preachers in channeling to the people the divine messages they received from Jehovah. Uncompromisingly they stood as Jehovah’s witnesses on God’s side of whatever issues were current in their day. They were ready to withstand the stream of public opinion and persecution rather than compromise in their devotion as prophets of Jehovah.—Heb. 11:33-38.
Necromancers? Channeling divine messages.
They are literally trying to take the place of moses and the judges, and prophets. That is a sign and wonder btw. Prophecy stopped too.
Jesus, was what was to be witnessed, with Gods spirit in him, making that line of You will be my witnesses, as in…you'll see Jesus… I'm in him working. That’s why apostles could only be apostles, if they saw Jesus from the beginning of his ministry, to his rez.
6 Finally the apostasy, the unfaithfulness of Israel, grew to the point where they totally rejected Jehovah’s repeated merciful counsel and divine warning, so that Jehovah permitted the pagan King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon to put an end to the dynasty of Davidic kings and to destroy Jerusalem. “And Jehovah, the God of their fathers, sent to them by his messengers, rising up early and sending, because he had compassion on his people, and on his dwelling-place [temple at Jerusalem]: but they mocked the messengers of God, and despised his words, and scoffed at his prophets, until the wrath of Jehovah arose against his people, till there was no remedy.” What a long record the apostate congregation of Israel has had of utterly closing her ears to Jehovah’s channel of heavenly communications!—2 Chron. 36:15, 16, AS.
They are referring to themselves and the criticism they get today.
If anything, they read prophecy about themselves.
Again with the spiritism talk.
People that left them, even still believing in God but not them, they are equating the "apostasy", "unfaithfulness" to them and how they act. They are also considering themselves as the mocked prophets.
9 As to the superiority of communication that has come to the Christian witnesses of Jehovah over that to their faithful forerunners, the Hebrew witnesses of the true religion, Paul speaks out: “God, who long ago spoke on many occasions and in many ways to our forefathers by means of the prophets, has at the end of these days spoken to us by means of a Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the systems of things. He is the reflection of his glory and the exact representation of his very being, and he sustains all things by the word of his power, and after he had made a purification for our sins he sat down on the right hand of the majesty in lofty places. So he has become better than the angels to the extent that he has inherited a name more excellent than theirs.”—Heb. 1:1-4, NW.
To change the scripture from "through whom he made the age to come" is to change what that whole meaning means, system is a leading thought on how things are working like a business, like what they do, that they use Moses's whole covenant and how they spread the light sound like. They changed themselves into the new Moses and judges. Their corporation talk is getting freeking creepy.
12 Just as no individual since Jesus’ day has been singled out in the fulfillment of Bible prophecies, so no single individual has comprised God’s special prophet since Jesus, the Great Prophet. For this reason Jesus made plans for an anointed congregation of disciples to become the collective channel in the earth making known God’s communications. Looking ahead to the operation of this channel Jesus said: “Truly I say to you men, Whatever things you may bind on earth will have been bound in heaven and whatever things you may loose on earth will have been loosed in heaven.” Note that the things to be restrained or freed here on earth must first be bound or loosed in heaven with instructions communicated to the organized group on earth. This power is organizational in scope and applies to no one man, as claimed by the Catholic Church in saying that this authority is vested in the one man, the pope.—Matt. 18:18, NW.
They put themselves into this "group" when it's for all who believe, or technically, it was to the Children of Israel, because you know… they're Gods chosen, and he will give it to no other, then they move to the gentiles.
The only difference they did from the pope was say, see…there's 9 of us, not 1, though that’s how it started up till JR. but now they say through ONE organization… so still, they are basically saying the same exact thing.
16 For some years many Christian ministers had been preaching that it was necessary for Gentile Christians to be circumcised. But finally, A.D. 49, at a convention of Jehovah’s witnesses in Jerusalem, several older ones of the governing body showed from Biblical argument and by divine revelation that Gentiles need not be circumcised. James, the fleshly half-brother of Jesus and the congregation servant of the Jerusalem congregation, concurred in this decision by explaining the fulfillment of the prophecy at Amos 9:11, 12 (LXX). (Acts 15:6-22, NW) Again many were preaching that Gentiles on becoming Christians should further subject themselves to the law of Moses. By the year 56 the apostle Paul, also of the governing body, was used to clear up from the Hebrew Scriptures that the coming in of the Gentiles was according to Bible prophecies and that such Gentiles were not under the law of Moses but under God’s undeserved kindness. He argued correctly that God had nailed the law covenant to the torture stake of Jesus. (Rom. 6:14; 15:7-13; Col. 2:13, 14) In the year 96 the apostle John was used to reveal, among many other things, that the exact number of the anointed ones to live and reign with Christ Jesus in heaven would be 144,000.—Rev. 7:4; 14:1.
1 taking things out of context.
2 putting themselves in the past.
3 they were Jesus witnesses. The witnesses of their messiah that did come. Holy spirit is the witness of him as well!
4 they're saying they are holy spirit inspired yet at the same time they say they are not and infallible and can err. Where these guys, did NOT err.
Also, they will be on mount Zion.
Also, bible prophecies? They talked about how the yoke was rough so why put it on them since in Jesus they are FREE.
EARLY UNCLEAR VIEWS NO DETRACTION
17, 18. (a) Why does this not demonstrate that God’s channel was weakened with error? (b) Were these earlier unclear views any detraction to preaching according to the channeled flow of new truth?
17 Does all this, then, demonstrate that God’s channel on earth since Jesus’ day was weakened and adulterated with error? No! To the contrary, it demonstrates there was no flood of water of choking volume at any one moment of time but rather a calm, steady flow of new waters of truth through a set channel. The many men and women brought into this prophetical organization of the anointed congregation had preconceived unclear views as to Jehovah’s purposes. It would take time gradually to change over their thinking. God knew that as mere men they could not mentally grasp, understand or retain a flood of new truths at one time, which figuratively might throw them off balance and drown them.
18 Jehovah in his mercy and loving consideration for his weaker servants arranged for a gradual flow of the waters of new truth to them in an orderly channeled way. Gradually their minds would be adjusted and become filled with a progression of new things. This, in turn, would enable them to preach these new things to other righteously disposed ones in a gradual, orderly, channel-like flow. For instance, the expression of unclear views as to whether sabbath laws of Moses and circumcision still were applicable to Christians in no wise detracted from the early flow of new points of truth or from the preaching of Jesus Christ by the early congregation. But in God’s due time, A.D. 49, the development of true religion reached the point where Jehovah’s legal position on circumcision and the Mosaic law could be wisely announced. From then on this new position, made emphatically clear, was preached uniformly as right doctrine by true Christian ministers.
19. How was the progressiveness of God’s channel foretold?
19 In fact, the progression of revealed Bible truths channeled in the line of communication through the anointed Christians brought startling information even to angels. “This was to the end that now to the governments and the authorities in the heavenly places there might be made known through the congregation the greatly diversified wisdom of God.” The state of progressiveness for the earthly channel was indicated by Jesus when he said: “Most truly I say to you, He that exercises faith in me, that one also will do the works that I do, and he will do works greater than these, because I am going my way to the Father.” In the year 55, after a rich flow of many new progressive divine communications as to Jehovah’s purposes, Paul still indicates a future greater unfolding of new things. “For at present we see in hazy outline by means of a metal mirror, but then it will be face to face. At present I know partially, but then I shall know accurately even as I am accurately known.”—Eph. 3:10; John 14:12; 1 Cor. 13:12; 1 Pet. 1:12, NW.
They received all the answers and put it in the book…. they are done figuring it out, to say anymore on it would be to add to the bible and what they said. If you want to know the answers to any of it, you go to the source where they hashed it out already. Not to the WT to explain further details that have already been concluded, to do so…again. This is to add to what they wrote. And since revelations is the last book in the bible, and it says do not add, and it was written by the apostle, it means, shut up. It's done.
Gods' truth is already said, and he let us know what's happening already this whole time, it's up to you to ignore it, and they chose to do so and change meanings and take scripture out of context as above. They consider themselves prophets apparently. They think they themselves have the true doctrine. God doesn't change, there are no new things, it's all been there and explained to us. Only thing that could be considered "new", is what Jesus's Love actually means, and understanding it finally. Not rules and regulations and fantasy with false hope of security in this world.
Breakdown w/ notes
TWELVE REQUIREMENTS FOR CHRISTIAN CHANNEL TODAY
20-32. Discuss each of the twelve specifications for the Christian channel today, and which group gives the evidence of meeting such requirements?
Faith, in Christ blood. Baptized. Reborn?
20 What of Jehovah’s Christian channel of communication today? Which of the hundreds of sects and denominations of those who claim to be Christian is Jehovah’s spokesman today in the earth as his divinely appointed and organized channel of communication?
Leading questions.
"claim to be Christian" that’s what they truly think.
The Bible indicates many specifications, all of which have to exist together to mark, beyond a shadow of doubt, the one divinely authorized channel.
"that would be us duh".
Thought stop techniques.
Following is a list of requirements to be met by such a true congregation of Christ to fit her as God’s channel today.
Calling themselves the "true congregation".
21 First, the congregation of Christ of the twentieth century must know what the name of its God is as revealed by Jesus to his early disciples and must become witnesses of this majestic name even as were the prophets of old, Jesus and the first-century Christians. Only the remnant of Jehovah’s anointed witnesses and their companions today have a rich understanding of the divine name JEHOVAH and accordingly are endeavoring to live up to this name as His witnesses.—Isa. 43:12; John 17:6, 11, 26; Acts 15:14.
Taking these out of context.
He himself out of respect probably said "Adonai".
They're not the only ones who know His name, and its actually not accurate at all, and they know this and stated this in their own writings (note "the name").
Anointed and companions…
And, no actually this isn't a requirement, and these requirements for elders were everywhere in the epistles.
22 Second, the congregation of Christ started by Jesus as the channel is made up of all anointed ones who are spirit-begotten with a hope of ruling with Christ in heaven and whose number is set at 144,000.
They rule on earth.
They think only them has the holy spirit, when it's all who are called and come to Jesus to be taught by the holy spirit, he calls all.
Which group of Christians in the earth today gives evidence of being the remnant of this nineteen-hundred-years-old richly matured congregation of Christ in its works and beliefs? Only the remnant of Jehovah’s anointed witnesses.—1 John 2:27; Rev. 14:1
Leading question pointing to themselves…again.
And there are actually quite a few people that do a better job with them, and are not forced to act like NPCs to show robotic "love", and actually genuinely care for mankind …all mankind and give everyone a chance and show true affection and forgiveness out of Love for God because they actually know him, because they know Jesus and went to Jesus, not some men that say they are basically Jesus.
And who said it… in Hebrews? Where God spoke through prophets of old, but now through the Son… prophets, as they call themselves, are out of business. We all look to the words he spoke and his hired shepherds…that are not them.
And since the spirit of Christ was among them before Jesus, it's been longer than 1900 years.
23 Third, the congregation of Christ must be marked distinctly by being persecuted among the nations for her integrity to Biblical principles and for her uncompromising virgin purity to Christ Jesus as the King of the new world. Only the remnant of Jehovah’s anointed witnesses and their companions have such a distinguishing mark by being persecuted the world over.—Matt. 24:9.
That’s a lie. Christianity Is the World's Most Persecuted Religion, Confirms New Report | Cato Institute
People are losing their heads and they're all like "omg, I'm being picked on because I can't have a cupcake, elders will write a human rights report that we're not treated fairly." and sue them too btw.
Pointing to themselves with their "persecution complex".
24 Fourth, the congregation of Christ must accept all the progressive revelations of the one true religion as contained in the Hebrew Scriptures channeled through all the prophets of old down to John the Baptist and in the Greek Scriptures channeled through Christ Jesus and his disciples. Only the remnant of Jehovah’s anointed witnesses and their companions, the “other sheep,” do.—2 Pet. 3:15, 16; Rev. 22:18, 19; John 10:16.
Wow.
They consider themselves the "only sheep".
And that you must accept their view.
And that ONLY THEY DO.
The whole thing was based off prophecy….so it was told. And it's been on track. In order. People are just impatient and want to benefit off gullible people that are scared of what's happening without reading the bible for themselves to find their answers and peace and rely on doom sayers that look fancy and listen to "authoritative truth", since they doubt themselves too much.
They love spiritism.
25 Fifth, the congregation of Christ must realize it went through a scattering period leading to a “Babylonish” spiritual captivity, from which there must have been a regathering of “his chosen ones together from the four winds, from one extremity of the heavens to their other extremity.”
So, screw anyone after 70ad, till 1914?
"Babylonish spiritual captivity" not biblical, in fact Jesus spoke of the future, not the past, you can't do that. Or you got to do it with everything and if you did you would put a lot of light on how this is all bullshit anyhow.
The 4 winds, is at the coming of Christ, his one and only Parousia when everyone in their tombs hear his voice. so, they took that out of context.
Only the remnant of Jehovah’s anointed witnesses who have been regathered since 1919 from all nations, languages and former religious associations realize this.—Matt. 24:31, NW; Rev. 18:4.
Screw their rank and file, they are treated as gods and they are legit their slaves. Like literally free labor. They made kings of themselves rather than if they were the greatest of them all, they would serve their rank and file.
They haven't once said the requirements of what Jesus said, or what the apostles said, just their own "visions" they put into the bible themselves.
26 Sixth, the congregation of Christ must keep spiritually awake for the return of her Lord Jesus Christ and, when he comes invisibly with attention to this earth’s affairs, she must accept him and receive the joy and delight of the King’s presence as Ruler.
He comes back 1 time bro, physically, visibly.
Presence...invisibly?.........the whole reason we are caught up to the clouds if we are alive, is to greet him to Davidic throne, like the culture did and Americans apparently forgot.
Only the remnant of Jehovah’s anointed witnesses have been spiritually awake to realize this great event of Christ’s enthronement in heaven in 1914.—Matt. 24:3, 42-44; 25:1-23.
Wrong, SDA is along side them, after Miller and the "Great dissapointment" were this all started to begin with.
He will be throned on Davids's throne.
It will be visible, and it won't be an angel sitting on Davids's throne, it will be the second mankind rulership as Adam let his first mankind drop the inheritance like for a bowl of soup.
27 Seventh, the congregation of Christ after the return of her Lord must, as the “house of God,” receive her judgment when Jehovah’s messenger comes to the temple for judgment, and this prior to the rest of the world. Only the remnant of Jehovah’s anointed witnesses experienced this judgment cleansing when the “messenger” came to his temple in 1918.—1 Pet. 4:17; Mal. 3:1-3.
1918? What messenger?
It's called baptism the thing you do after repentance to wash your sins away so you can stand in the presence of the glory of God at the second coming of Christ.
"only"
So, what about everyone else since 1919? Religions are still around.
28 Eighth, the congregation of Christ, when cleansed, must have received the commendation of her Lord by being designated the “faithful and discreet slave whom his master appointed over his domestics to give them their food at the proper time.” Only the remnant of Jehovah’s anointed witnesses have realized this office since 1919, since when they have made a supreme effort to channel forth clean spiritual food to all those in association with them as Christ’s “domestics.”—Matt. 24:45-47, NW.
So, their salvation only comes through the governing body? Not belief in Jesus and the blood he shed for us? Out of your made-up prophecy you refuse to finish reading. It was a rhetorical question, answering a question followed up with parables to explain his question. If that part is a "prophecy" then the rest of that context should be too, but it's not counted.
29 Ninth, the congregation of Christ must receive in the last days the special commission that “this good news of the kingdom” must be “preached in all the inhabited earth for the purpose of a witness to all the nations, and then the accomplished end will come.” Only the remnant of Jehovah’s anointed witnesses together with their companions have published information concerning the establishment of Christ’s kingdom in 1914, which publication has now reached into 160 lands of earth.—Matt. 24:14, NW.
No, they don’t. There are plenty that do this other than them.
God will and has used the evil ones to do this too. Just like the Jews. So yeah, they themselves can say they are doing this, but God uses the evil ones.
Now they are also taking it back, that not all will hear the message the past 4 years.
30 Tenth, the congregation of Christ must today follow its first-century pattern by receiving progressive understandings of Bible prophecies which unfold further majestic purposes of the Living God and which new light of truth must be published impartially the world over by God’s prophetlike organization. Only the remnant of Jehovah’s anointed witnesses and their companions “do not treat prophesyings with contempt” but publish their fulfillments as they become clear, in their Bible publications.—1 Thess. 5:20; Rev. 11:3, 4, NW.
So read things added to scripture and believe them only. Don’t even pick up the bible they'll tell you what to read. And don’t question it, or you are not saved as a "friend of theirs" aka "companion".
Also, companion means they don’t have the holy spirit, they just get to piggyback off who they say does… "the anointed". Yet their rank and file, seem to think "two or more" means the spirit is with them, and blinding themselves, that their own doctrine doesn’t allow them to do that, because that is only for the anointed.
They are calling their own doctrine "majestic".
31 Eleventh, the congregation of Christ must realize a change in her work from that of gathering the “little flock” for heavenly privileges to that of gathering out the “other sheep” to become prospective Kingdom subjects to live happily forever
Serve the anointed. They are worshipping men. They are calling them Kings as if the new world was already here and happened. Waaay ahead of Gods chariot I would say.
Works, and if they're not doing enough they won't get to live happily ever after, they'll serve their masters in the afterlife… these people are just like Egyptians and other pagan religions of serving their master's all the way into the afterlife.
on a paradise earth that is destined to continue unendingly in fulfillment of the great Abrahamic promise. Only the anointed remnant have experienced this since the years 1932 and 1935.—Gen. 22:18; Luke 12:32; John 10:16; Matt. 25:31-33.
What?
How so?
Does it look like the people on earth are making the earth better? No, they shut the kingdom doors on everyone.
Abrahamic… meaning his people…us gentiles are just graphed in; we are dogs compared to Children of Israel as Jesus told the lady that said even the dogs want scraps. They are beyond haughty.
32 Twelfth, the congregation of Christ must realize the certain time when Jehovah ‘plants the new heavens and lays the foundation of the new earth’
"certain time"
We do not know the time, it's on Gods authority... For a reason, probably to flush out people that will take advantage of this time to oppress other people… and they're failing the test of time.
as part of his permanent New World system of things. Only Jehovah’s witnesses realize this and have come to know that since 1919 a New World society is developing to expand to fill the whole earth in righteousness.—Isa. 51:16; 65:17; 2 Pet. 3:13; Rev. 21:1.
They themselves think they can usher in the new kingdom. They think ALL they built, will be a part of it all. When it most likely won't exist at all, and God will write all of what they need to know in their hearts. And nothing of the past will come to mind.
Taking out of context.
They sound like New world order, and they jumped on the band wagon with the World Economic Forum, and probably sitting at the same table with them.
**********************
We find that this is exactly what it has to do with, the interests of the glorious Kingdom as they pertain now to this earth. That is, those Kingdom interests which are visible. Can it therefore really mean that the returned master who comes as earth’s new ruler has made this “faithful and wise servant” ruler over all the present earthly interests of his kingdom? That is exactly what it states, and certainly no less. ‘He shall make him ruler over all his possessions.’ Not only do we believe this, but give thanks to God and Christ day and night for his loving-kindness to the children of men.
They believe they are rulers over people now. Those possessions don’t come till he returns, they say he returned 1914(though there's are other dates he's "returned") though when he returns (Luke 22:44 Mat 24:46 [the one they don’t read]-47) he will be seen. And there is only one time, they make it 2 times with this "he's returned invisibly".
They say they are the visible return.
They also call themselves children of men…… we as "Christians" are supposed to be called Sons of God.
Accepting Our Creator’s Guidance
As our Creator, Jehovah God has the right to give us moral direction. (Revelation 4:11) In the Bible, God provides laws and principles to guide our conduct and worship. To his people, God said: “Obey my voice, and you must do things according to all that I command you; and you will certainly become my people and I myself shall become your God.”—Jeremiah 11:4.
So “being good” from God’s viewpoint requires learning what his standards are and adjusting our life to meet them. Imagine that you wanted to become someone’s friend. You would naturally want to know how that one prefers to be treated, and then you would act in a way that pleases him or her. The Bible indicates that like the patriarch Abraham, we can become Jehovah’s friend—that is, someone he looks upon with favor. (James 2:23) Moreover, since God has much higher standards than we do, we cannot expect him to make changes to fit our personal values.—Isaiah 55:8, 9.
They believe they are his voice, therefore, they say they will be the ones commanding you, on which they think God wants you to do. Jesus…. Said obey his Commandments.. Remind me how many there were… and what they were…? hint… there was 2. The letter from Paul and the whole church and elders, those that SAW Christ to remind each other of what he had told them since they spent most time with him, were able to shape it up a little better, by, don’t listen to anyone giving you laws, you're free, just don’t EAT the blood of the sacrifices. Do not digest life. And stop screwing around literally. That is it. Other than…obey JESUS
1. Is there only one true religion?

“Be on the watch for the false prophets.”—MATTHEW 7:15.
Jesus taught his followers only one religion, the true religion. It is like a road leading to everlasting life. Jesus said: “Few are finding” that road. (Matthew 7:14) God accepts only worship based on his Word of truth. All true worshippers are united in one faith.—Read John 4:23, 24; 14:6; Ephesians 4:4, 5.
Turning into they are that religion, and one faith only.
They NEVER use full scripture. And they follow up with their own interpretation.
2. What did Jesus say about false Christians?

“They publicly declare that they know God, but they disown him by their works.”—TITUS 1:16.
Jesus warned that false prophets would corrupt Christianity. Outwardly, they seem like true worshippers. Their churches claim to be Christian. But you can recognize such people for what they really are. How? Only true worship produces genuine Christians with recognizable qualities and ways.—Read Matthew 7:13-23.
Not all call themselves prophets. Lots give to the poor whether they are Christian or not. They all are unified on one thing… what Christ did. Do they have the semantics in a knot... Sure, its what causes division, but whose been the greater of those that do that? With a totally different good news… JW.
They wouldn't know what a genuine Christians was if they smacked them in the face. Not one of those "what is required to be the one spokesperson for God" had anything to do with what the epistles and Jesus taught on guidelines to make sure the leaders were doing it right.
Also, Jesus didn't tell the soldiers to stop fighting…just stop screwing people on tax collection and asking for more money.
4. Can you identify the true religion?
Which religion bases all its teachings on God’s Word, honors God’s name, and proclaims God’s Kingdom as mankind’s only hope? Which group practices love and shuns war? What do you think?—Read 1 John 3:10-12.
Leading questions pointing to themselves.
Honors the one that comes in God's name.
So they admit one hope?
Are you one of Jesus’ sheep? Do you know his voice and listen to it? If you recognize and acknowledge his teachings as the truth and if you obey his commandments and follow his lead in worshiping Jehovah, then you can experience the loving and tender shepherding of Jehovah God and his Son, Jesus Christ.—John 15:10.
His teaching…means their teaching. Anyone that actually does, they condemn.

6. How do our meetings help us to stay spiritually active?
6 For what other reasons does our God place such importance on our regularly gathering together? Our meetings, assemblies, and conventions help us to have courage to speak with boldness and to deal with opposition or apathy in our territories. (Acts 4:23, 31) We are strengthened and made firm in the faith by the Scriptural discussions. (Acts 15:32; Rom. 1:11, 12) The teaching and interchange of encouragement that we receive at our gatherings for worship help us to experience real happiness and give us “quietness from days of calamity.” (Ps. 94:12, 13) The Teaching Committee of the Governing Body oversees the preparation of all spiritual programs for the instruction of Jehovah’s people earth wide. How thankful we can be for the provisions that are made for us to enjoy wholesome teaching at our meetings every week of the year!
Where's Jesus? Or the anointed? Or where's the mention of "faithful slave thing".

22 Zechariah, father of John the Baptist, had an experience with an appointed theocratic representative that should impress this on our minds. When Gabriel, an angelic servant of God, was sent to notify him of the forthcoming birth of his son, Zechariah did not reject the announcement, but merely expressed some doubt, saying: “How am I to be sure of this? For I am aged and my wife is well along in years.” Zechariah here failed to show due respect for theocratic authority. For this failure he was struck speechless and remained that way until the birth of John. Such experience was written for our counsel at this time.—Luke 1:18-20, NW.
What they expect out of you, you can't doubt or question and will be considered a failure.
23. (a) Is it any less important to recognize earthly overseers in the theocratic organization? (b) What view do we take of counsel from the organization?
23 Surely none would question the authority of the angel Gabriel when he spoke as a servant of God. Obedience and respect shown to that theocratic representative would demonstrate obedience and respect for the One he represented, Jehovah God. Earthly overseers represent Jehovah in their assignments just as much as heavenly ones do.
Who they consider themselves as.
At some time you may have been approached by one of the servants in the congregation, who offered some suggestions on improving or enlarging your privileges of service in the field work. How should we respond to what he says? Well, how would we respond if Jehovah himself opened the heavens and issued that counsel for us? Because we love our heavenly Father we would delight to do it! (Ps. 40:8) Well, Jehovah has opened the heavens and instructed us what to do. By sending forth his holy spirit from on high he has had recorded in his Word the admonition that we preach publicly and from house to house and that we feed the sheep by calling back on all those who showed interest when they heard the Word. Now, in this time, he has designated the “faithful and discreet slave” to oversee this work of Kingdom proclamation. To this “slave” class he has entrusted all his belongings as respects true worship on the earth.
Only ones.
In fulfilling its assignment from Jehovah this class gives us suggestions on how to carry out our Scriptural commission to preach and uses the local theocratically designated servants to draw them to our attention and help us to apply them. While the “slave” and other appointed overseers are certainly not inspired, as were the ones used to write the Bible, yet those in the congregation show proper respect for the position they occupy by responding to counsel given because they know that this is Jehovah’s provision for instructing his people at this time.—Heb. 13:7, 17.
No one else is inspired, not even them? So why not question them?

9. How should we feel when the faithful and discreet slave makes changes in the way we understand something in the Bible?
9 Today, the faithful and discreet slave sometimes helps us to understand a teaching in the Bible in a way that is different from what we thought before.
Why? And how? What was sound you make confusing.
We should be happy about these changes. They show us that Jehovah is using the faithful and discreet slave to teach us the truth.
God does not change or change his mind when it comes to his scriptures. He is not confusing. IF they keep changing they never had the spirit guiding them. Do not go against what scripture says, change it or nothing, or change what the apostles have told us.
Sometimes the Governing Body
Making themselves important.
, who represents the faithful and discreet slave, reviews how we understand certain truths. If these brothers decide that changes are necessary, they are not afraid to correct the way they explained some teachings in the past or to make their explanations clearer.
Which should make them more wary that they don’t care what they think about being constantly changing.
They know that some will say bad things about the faithful and discreet slave
Thought stop.
because of these changes, but that is not the most important thing to them. The most important thing to them is that they cooperate with God’s purpose. How do you feel when the faithful and discreet slave makes a change in the way we understand something in the Bible?—Read Luke 5:39.
Like they're not of God and are led by their own emotions and desires. And mis rep God.

But later, Jehovah’s people understood more clearly that Jehovah wanted them to do more than just give public talks. He wanted them to preach from house to house and in other ways. Some of those very good speakers did not want to do that. Their talks made others think that they loved and obeyed Jehovah, but their actions in this situation showed that they did not. We know that Jehovah was not pleased with their actions. They left his organization.—Matthew 10:1-6; Acts 5:42; 20:20.
One it's not in scripture to do so, and because they probably pointed that out, as God said it was so, they said God punished them, for wanting to stick to scripture. BS.
It was also hard for many of the other Bible Students to preach from house to house, especially in the beginning. But they obeyed and were loyal to Jehovah’s organization. After some time, it became easier for them to preach from house to house. Jehovah blessed them very much. What do you do when the faithful and discreet slave tells you to try a way of preaching that you never tried before? Do you obey even if this way of preaching seems very difficult to you?
God does not force or coerce, especially when it has nothing to do with scripture.
Breakdown w/notes
12 We certainly agree that to please Jehovah, we must obey the command to be clean in every way.
His commands were to love your neighbor as yourself and him first. Anything else was from the letter to gentile churches about blood, idols, sexual immorality, anything else is outside of God and disturbing souls, and are not of God.
(Read Titus 2:14.) But there are situations that can make it difficult for us to obey this command. For example, think of this situation: A loyal Christian couple have only one son and he leaves the truth. He prefers “the temporary enjoyment of sin” to his friendship with Jehovah and with his parents. Because of his actions, he cannot be part of the congregation anymore. So the congregation removes him, or disfellowships him, from among God’s people.—Hebrews 11:25.
13 The parents suffer so much! They know that the Bible says to “quit mixing in company with anyone called a brother that is a fornicator or a greedy person or an idolater or a reviler or a drunkard or an extortioner, not even eating with such a man.” It also says: “Remove the wicked man from among yourselves.” (1 Corinthians 5:11, 13) And they understand that the word “anyone” includes members of the family who do not live in the same house. But because of their strong love for their son, they may think: “We need to talk to our son as much as we can. We cannot help him return to Jehovah if we cannot talk to him.”b—See footnote.
14, 15. What must parents remember when deciding if they will talk to their disfellowshipped child?
14 We are sad to see those parents suffer. Their son had the choice to change what he was doing. But he wanted to continue to do what was wrong more than he wanted to be with his parents and the congregation. The parents want to help their son, but they cannot control what he decides to do. We can really understand why they are suffering so much.
15 What will our dear brother and sister do? Will they obey the clear command from Jehovah? It is true that there may be rare occasions when they need to talk to their son because of a necessary family matter. But will they think that they have many reasons to talk to their son? When they make their decision about this, they must remember what Jehovah wants them to do. They must remember that Jehovah wants to keep his people clean. That is why he gives the command to “remove the wicked man” from the congregation. He also wants to help the person who did what is wrong to change his actions and return to the congregation. How can Christian parents show that they want the same as Jehovah?
So they admit shunning.
16 Aaron, the brother of Moses, was in a difficult situation because of what two of his sons did. His sons Nadab and Abihu made an offering in a way that Jehovah did not approve. Jehovah sent fire from heaven and killed them. Imagine how much Aaron suffered because of this. Aaron could no longer talk to his sons. They were dead. But there was something else that made that situation even more difficult for Aaron and his family. Moses told Aaron and his other sons that Jehovah did not want them to show that they were sad. Moses said: “Do not let your heads go ungroomed, and you must not tear your garments, that you may not die and that he may not become indignant against all the assembly.” (Leviticus 10:1-6) The lesson is clear. Our love for Jehovah must be stronger than our love for family members who are not loyal to Jehovah.
17 Today, Jehovah does not immediately kill those who disobey his laws. He shows them love and gives them an opportunity to stop their wrong actions. But how does Jehovah feel if parents disobey his command and think that they have many reasons to talk to their disfellowshipped son or daughter?
18, 19. What blessings can family members have if they continue to be loyal to Jehovah?
18 Many say that they returned to the congregation because their friends and family continued to be loyal to Jehovah and did not talk to them. For example, a young woman told the elders that one thing that made her change her way of life was the way her brother acted. He was loyal to Jehovah and obeyed Jehovah’s command while she was disfellowshipped. This made her want to return to the congregation.
19 So what do we need to do? We need to obey Jehovah in all situations in life. Because we are imperfect, this will be difficult for us sometimes. But we must strongly believe that what Jehovah tells us to do is always the best for us.
They shun, they are saying they are Moses and give commandments that are from God. And that they know what's best for them.
Many of the “great crowd” have served Jehovah for many years now. (Revelation 7:9) They did not expect to get old in this wicked world.
And why is that?
But they are still doing their best in Jehovah’s service. (Psalm 92:14) They know that the word of God is alive and that Jehovah’s promises will come true. (Hebrews 4:12) They know that he is working to fulfill his purpose for the earth and humans. Because God’s purpose is very important to him, it makes him happy when we show that his purpose is also important to us. During this seventh day of rest, nothing will stop Jehovah from completing his purpose. And he knows that his people, as a group, will continue to cooperate with his purpose. What about you? Have you entered into God’s rest?
[Blurb on page 24]
We need to obey the faithful and discreet slave to have Jehovah’s approval
Notice how they didn't actually say that before, but said they need to obey God, and to be baptized to have Gods approval, and then they shove this in there to wrap up what that means.
*************************
It is vital that we appreciate this fact and respond to the directions of the “slave” as we would to the voice of God, because it is His provision.
WHO APPOINTS OVERSEERS
8, 9. (a) Who appoints overseers in the New World society? (b) Explain how that is true.
8 This matter of theocratic appointment permeates every part of the organization. It is directed from the top, from Jehovah God himself, down. Those in responsible positions, such as circuit and district servants, congregation servants and ministerial servants in the congregation, are all part of this theocratic structure. Their appointment to service is to be viewed in that way.
Vital to obey them as the voice of God. Not even Jesus.
Explain…as in, repeat after me.
So are they saying they are inspired? When they say they are not?
An even greater mistake would be to allow the faults of others to stumble us and cause us to leave Jehovah’s organization. Were that to happen, we would lose not only the privilege of doing God’s will but also the hope of life in God’s new world.
BOOOOOM only them, and everyone who leaves is dead. This causes suicide.
At that time, the life-saving direction that we receive from Jehovah’s organization may not appear practical from a human standpoint. All of us must be ready to obey any instructions we may receive, whether these appear sound from a strategic or human standpoint or not. (4) Now is the time for any who may be putting their trust in secular education, material things, or human institutions to adjust their thinking.
Do not question just do, do not think, even if it is not sound doctrine, goes bluntly against the bible and how the apostles taught us to test the spirit.
If we stop actively supporting Jehovah’s work, then we start following Satan. There is no middle ground
They can't leave…at all.
19 Are you helping your children to ‘keep themselves without spot from the world’? (James 1:27) Satan would like to reel in your children as a man reels in fish. Various clubs and other organizations are designed to make young people fit in with Satan’s world. But Jehovah’s servants already belong to the only organization that will survive the end of this wicked system of things. So Christian youths should be encouraged to have “plenty to do in the work of the Lord.” (1 Corinthians 15:58) Godly parents need to assist their children to set goals that will give them a happy and rewarding life that honors God and helps them to be ready for Jehovah’s day.
Fear monger.
Admitting they are the only ones.
But if we were to draw away from Jehovah’s organization, there would be no place else to go for salvation and true joy.
The only ones.
They must appreciate that identifying themselves with Jehovah’s organization is essential to their salvation.
Replacing Jesus.
These terrifying circumstances emphasize the need of all persons to accept the help Jehovah provides through his Word, his spirit and the organization of his faithful people. This assistance through the earth-wide congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses is necessary for anyone to serve Jehovah successfully. At this stage of the affairs of man, it is absolutely impossible for anyone, professed Christian or otherwise, to stand independent of the one organization that is bearing witness worldwide to Jehovah, his goodness and supremacy in accord with the 145th Psalm 145 and, in fact, in accord with all the Scriptures.
Fear monger.
"professed Christians"…that’s all they are…
Bold thing to say that scriptures back this up…what would Jesus have to say about that?
No matter where we may live on earth, God’s Word continues to serve as a light to our path and a lamp to our roadway as to our conduct and beliefs. (Ps. 119:105) But Jehovah God has also provided his visible organization, his “faithful and discreet slave,” made up of spirit-anointed ones, to help Christians in all nations to understand and apply properly the Bible in their lives. Unless we are in touch with this channel of communication that God is using, we will not progress along the road to life, no matter how much Bible reading we do.—Compare Acts 8:30-40.
Wow, they have to be them, more than they read the bible.
10 This great crowd is part of the only truly united multinational organization on earth today. They do not have different standards for different countries but apply the Bible’s right principles consistently wherever they live. They are not involved in nationalistic, revolutionary movements but have truly ‘beaten swords into plowshares.’ (Isaiah 2:4) They are not divided into sects or denominations, so that they shout confused or mutually contradictory messages as do the religions of Christendom; nor do they leave it to a professional clergy class to do their praising for them. They do not cry out that they owe salvation to the holy spirit, for they are not servants of a trinitarian god. In some 200 geographical territories around the earth, they are at one in calling upon the name of Jehovah as they speak the one pure language of truth. (Zephaniah 3:9) Properly, they publicly acknowledge that their salvation comes from Jehovah, the God of salvation, through Jesus Christ, His Chief Agent of salvation.—Psalm 3:8; Hebrews 2:10.
They are the ones, anyone split off is not Christian, they are the one pure language of truth.
14 Do not conclude that there are different roads, or ways, that you can follow to gain life in God’s new system. There is only one. There was just the one ark that survived the Flood, not a number of boats. And there will be only one organization—God’s visible organization—that will survive the fast-approaching “great tribulation.” It is simply not true that all religions lead to the same goal. (Matthew 7:21-23; 24:21) You must be part of Jehovah’s organization, doing God’s will, in order to receive his blessing of everlasting life.—Psalm 133:1-3.
That ark, is Jesus. He is the only way, not JW.org.
5 Shoulder the Responsibility: Every disciple maker must realize that it is his responsibility to direct the Bible student to God’s organization. (1 Tim. 4:16) Each study session should be viewed as a stepping-stone toward the happy day when the new one will symbolize his dedication to Jehovah by water baptism. One of the questions that he will be asked during the baptism ceremony is: “Do you understand that your dedication and baptism identify you as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in association with God’s spirit-directed organization?” Hence, it is important that he realize he cannot serve God without actively associating with the true Christian congregation.—Matt. 24:45-47; John 6:68; 2 Cor. 5:20.
Baptism isn't a dedication, it's to cleans their sins, to stand with a clean conscious toward the day we will see Gods glory and to be guilt free with no shame. In a way it can be a connection and dedication…but to GOD not JW.
"true Christian".
11 Have you dedicated your life to Jehovah and symbolized your dedication by water baptism? If so, that is wonderful! Recall that on your baptism day, before eyewitnesses, you were asked whether you had dedicated yourself to Jehovah and understood that “your dedication and baptism identify you as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in association with God’s spirit-directed organization.” Your affirmative answers served as a public declaration of your unreserved dedication and showed that you were qualified for baptism as an ordained minister of Jehovah. You must have made Jehovah very happy!
"public declaration" eunuch didn't have an audience…
An oath to JW.
Children…ministers…
3 Make haste to identify the visible theocratic organization of God that represents his king, Jesus Christ. It is essential for life. Doing so, be complete in accepting its every aspect. We cannot claim to love God, yet deny his Word and channel of communication. We cannot accept apostolic teaching, yet reject our commission to teach others. We cannot accept the house-to-house ministry, yet ignore God’s moral requirements in everyday living. We cannot live an exemplary life, yet remain apathetic to the issue soon to be settled. We cannot preach the end of this system of things, yet seek to acquire all that this world has to offer in security or material benefits. Jehovah’s visible organization is based firmly on the twelvefold foundation of the “apostles of the Lamb,” with Jesus Christ himself being the foundation cornerstone. (Rev. 21:14, 19, 20; Eph. 2:20-22) Therefore, in submitting to Jehovah’s visible theocratic organization, we must be in full and complete agreement with every feature of its apostolic procedure and requirements.
They're calling themselves apostles.
Basically, saying obey or yothey don’t actually love God? Wow…
Submitting…
They don’t go by any of the requirements the apostles said, they failed them all and made them up themselves from above.
Only if the individual answers in the affirmative and also understands that his dedication and baptism identify him as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in association with God’s spirit-directed organization can he acceptably undergo water immersion.
Taking oaths.
Saying God spirit yet not inspired?
Not understanding what baptism is apparently. Washing away Sins so they can stand before God with a clean conscious.
Zealous participation means Christians must identify themselves with Jehovah’s organization by actively associating with it, not just occasionally but by regular meeting attendance.
So, screw everyone else.
Surely all dedicated Christians want to be minded even as David was, loyal to Jehovah. However, we may not forget that loyalty to God also means being loyal to his organization. Does God have an organization? Yes, even as he had one in the days of ancient Israel and in apostolic times, so it is reasonable to conclude that he would have a visible organization on earth today. In fact, many religious organizations claim to be God’s church or organization. How, then, can we identify which one truly is?
In the same way that the Jews in the days of the apostles were able to identify God’s loyal organization. How was that? By its having God’s holy spirit poured out upon it and giving proof of it by all flesh in it prophesying—sons and daughters, men slaves and women slaves. One and all, Luke tells, were speaking about the magnificent things of God as the result of the outpouring of God’s spirit at Pentecost.—Acts 2:1-18.
Of all that claim to be God’s organization today, which one meets this requirement? There is only one possible answer: the New World society of Jehovah’s witnesses. As their 1962 Yearbook shows, they count as their numbers only those who prophesy and that about the “magnificent things of God.” During 1961 there were 884,587 ministers throughout the world in 185 different lands and islands of the sea that shared in prophesying each month, and a peak for the year of 965,169.
Loyalty to God’s organization requires that we prophesy all we can, as effectively as possible and where we can do the most good. We may not hold back in any of these respects. We must take the quality of our prophesying seriously, ever seeking to become more able ministers. Nor may we content ourselves with but one hour a month if we can devote ten hours to prophesying. Ten hours a month is only one hour every three days, and surely we can find that much time for prophesying. And if we can do more, loyalty requires that we do more, even going to places where there is a greater need for witnesses if we are able to do so.
…"so it's reasonable"… is there such thing as leading statements? That’s a thing right? There is no proof in the bible that anything would be around up to the end, if anything, we be dying and little of us will be left. IF that was even meant for us, and not for the true Israel.
Holy spirit poured and prophesying…so they do admit your prophets… and they DO say they are inspired.
They apparently have the "gift" of prophesying, so…do they not believe the gifts ended? They're holding onto this one but saying everyone's else's gifts are shit? Double standard.
What the hell… they literally say they are not prophets to everyone's face…and that no gifts exist, this is blowing my mind.
A third requirement is that we be associated with God’s channel, his organization. God has always used an organization. For example, only those in the ark in Noah’s day survived the Flood, and only those associated with the Christian congregation in the first century had God’s favor. (Acts 4:12) Similarly, Jehovah is using only one organization today to accomplish his will. To receive everlasting life in the earthly Paradise we must identify that organization and serve God as part of it.
Again, with the requirements…but changed.
Channel = new age
Only them.
They can't know that, and that’s not what they say to the people on the outside, and if their people inside ask face to face.
They must…serving God, is actually serving them.
23 God’s organization is more important to him than the salvation of an immoral or disobedient creature. The vindication of Jehovah’s sovereignty and the keeping his name above reproach is of higher importance than the preservation of willful sinners. Hence these paramount things must come first. Accordingly God shows due respect for the organization which bears his name. He executes his judgments against the defilers and keeps it clean. He acts on the principle: “If anyone destroys the temple of God, God will destroy him; for the temple of God is holy, which temple you people are.”—1 Cor. 3:17, NW.
24. How should we show respect for his organization, and why?
24 Since God so respects his organization, then we must exercise fear and must respect it too. It is our solemn obligation to watch our conduct and avoid bringing reproach upon it or corrupting it. For one thing, therefore, keep marriage honorable and the marriage bed undefiled. We may not defile or bring reproach upon the organization by impure conduct and stay in the organization, for this would act like a yeast and tend to ferment the entire organization with uncleanness, hypocrisy and sin. It would make the organization odious in the eyes of sincere people and would prevent these offended ones from coming to the organization and being saved. We cannot consistently gain our own salvation and at the same time hinder others from doing so because of our immoral, reproachful behavior which involves God’s organization. So the judgment which God is executing today is: “Remove the wicked man [who is like a yeast of sin] from among yourselves.” (1 Cor. 5:1-13, NW) If we disown God by our conduct, he will disown us by disfellowshiping us. His judgment today is not moving slowly, and the destruction of the unclean is not slumbering.
Removing Romans all together on how God shows his glory through making everyone acceptable.
Uh… do we not remember going after the one sheep parable? How he leaves those that are not sick (or don’t think they are sick) to go for the sinners?
Above reproach? They make him look SO bad, especially when they stay silent on their CSA cases that they've destroyed evidence to and a lot more for decades and will not apologize because they believe they are above secular law with their fantasy of a "theocratic" group.
Which sincere people? Are you calling the people on the outside sincere? That’s a first.
They can't "gain" salvation………there is KEEPING your salvation.
21 It is the same at this consummation of the system of things, the destruction of a world now near at hand. The good news of the Kingdom arrangement for deliverance is being preached by Jehovah’s visible organization, and through the organization has come a wonderfully full understanding of Jehovah’s arrangement for deliverance. It includes the understanding of the opportunity for serving Jehovah in this time of the end, the making by each individual of a continual confession of public praise of God which leads to salvation or deliverance.
Full understanding? Then why do they keep changing their doctrine? CR would be an apostate if he were to come back to life and try and enter. He'd be disfellowshipped since his writing were about how that exact act is pagan. And he believed everyone was anointed.
The public praise of what exactly... That THEY are God?
28 Are you willing to ‘gird yourself with lowliness of mind,’ to “put on the apron of humility”? Are you willing to accept Jehovah’s way for salvation? In this twentieth century we have an example of humility, of lowliness of mind, that is found world wide. It is in the organization of Jehovah’s witnesses. Why not read on and see how they have humbly conformed to Jehovah’s way for salvation?
This is creepy. Are creepy ass clowns writing this?
We need to be on guard, always willing to accept discipline from Jehovah and his organization, and to conform ourselves to his will. We should never think that ours is a case of “once saved, always saved,” for the reward of salvation is for those who ‘continue in the truth.
Let them beat you to submission and conform to the organization because they will give you salvation.
And while now the witness yet includes the invitation to come to Jehovah’s organization for salvation, the time no doubt will come when the message takes on a harder tone, like a “great war cry.”
Threat? At this point I wouldn’t be surprised if they had a hidden militia that Sam herd and tony Morris are in charge of since they want to kill everyone so bad.
Bible students need to get acquainted with the organization of the “one flock” Jesus spoke about at John 10:16. They must appreciate that identifying themselves with Jehovah’s organization is essential to their salvation. (Rev. 7:9, 10, 15) Therefore, we should start directing our Bible students to the organization as soon as a Bible study is established.
Must appreciate is a weird way of saying things.
The one flock was Jewish and gentile together, not one American, Zionist, supersessionism religion.
7 Only Jehovah’s Witnesses, those of the anointed remnant and the “great crowd,” as a united organization under the protection of the Supreme Organizer, have any Scriptural hope of surviving the impending end of this doomed system dominated by Satan the Devil.
Correction…a DOOMS Day cult.

35 Q. And do you see yourselves as Jehovah God's
36 spokespeople on earth?
37 A. That I think would seem to be quite presumptuous to
38 say that we are the only spokesperson that God is using.
39 The scriptures clearly show that someone can act in harmony
40 with God's spirit in giving comfort and help in the
41 congregations, but if I could just clarify a little, going
42 back to Matthew 24, clearly, Jesus said that in the last
43 days ‐ and Jehovah's Witnesses believe these are the last
44 days ‐ there would be a slave, a group of persons who would
45 have responsibility to care for the spiritual food. So in
46 that respect, we view ourselves as trying to fulfil that
47 role.

Double Speak
(what they tell the people in FAQ)
Do Jehovah’s Witnesses Feel That They Are the Only People Who Will Be Saved?
No. Many millions who lived in centuries past and who weren’t Jehovah’s Witnesses will have an opportunity for salvation. The Bible explains that in God’s promised new world, “there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.” (Acts 24:15) Additionally, many now living may yet begin to serve God, and they too will gain salvation. In any case, it’s not our job to judge who will or won’t be saved. That assignment rests squarely in Jesus’ hands.—John 5:22, 27.
No?...................what have we been reading this whole time? Even the people in there that are not of the special class may not actually pass. So how could anyone else by their own logic?
So, all this judging other denominations and, condemning others, and going "us versus them"…….is, and was pointless?
Do Jehovah’s Witnesses Believe That They Have the One True Religion?
Those who are serious about religion should think that the one they’ve chosen is acceptable to God and Jesus. Otherwise, why would they be involved in it?
Jesus Christ didn’t agree with the view that there are many religions, many roads, all leading to salvation. Rather, he said: “Narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life, and few are the ones finding it.” (Matthew 7:14) Jehovah’s Witnesses believe that they’ve found that road. Otherwise, they’d look for another religion.
Kind of sounds like "we're just like youUuUUu", but they've condemned them and called them "self-proclaiming" with crappy works. And they can't stand when they say Jesus you Jesus freaks. (heard it before)
Smartass's.
Should think…. But not to think about if theirs is if they are in it.
The right to change religions is supported by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which the United Nations has called “the foundation of international human rights law.” That document states that everyone has the “freedom to change his religion or belief” and “to seek, receive and impart information and ideas,” including religious ideas. c Of course, these rights carry with them the obligation to respect the rights of others both to maintain their beliefs and to reject ideas that they disagree with.
They're just not allowed to talk to anyone anymore from their religion. Even if its family.
Freedom of religion is a human right, even if it means leaving theirs. And they are to obey the secular law, since they are not actually a theocracy.
And why are they speaking so fondly now?
If you don’t choose them.
Additionally, God’s Word states: “All hearts Jehovah is searching, and every inclination of the thoughts he is discerning. If you search for him, he will let himself be found by you.” (1 Chronicles 28:9) So although Jehovah does not promise that every individual will receive exactly the same opportunity, he does make sure that an opportunity is held out to all honest hearted ones. He will even make sure that those who have never had the occasion to learn about him will be given an opportunity by means of a resurrection to life in a righteous new world.—Acts 24:15.
He gave his only begotten son for all mankind… to atone for all sins. That means even the wicked can change… hence, the thief on the cross… and all the "sinners" that were with him at dinners?
But…they would have to die?
They know what would be crazy...if all mankind was forgiven in the world, because they've sinned unknowingly as the first high priest made offers for and God has said in OT, he plans on saving the whole world and doesn't want anyone to perish. Those that are truly to be cast out, are people representing God wrong, and making people reproach God because of their behavior…such as, sitting in the place of Moses…or setting themselves as rulers over his people.
Consequently, in addition to what Jude 7 says, the Bible uses Sodom/Gomorrah and the Flood as patterns for the destructive end of the present wicked system. It is apparent, then, that those whom God executed in those past judgments experienced irreversible destruction. Of course, each of us can confirm that by his proving faithful to Jehovah now. In that way we will qualify to be alive in the new world to see whom he resurrects and whom he does not.
Just join them and they all can find out together!? Their new light says they might be rezzed. That they "JUST CAN'T KNOW" and "CAN'T BE DOGMATIC".
"old light" recently changed, they now have a chance to maybe repent from this "irreversible destruction". They say now, they simply "do not know".
2 Those whom Almighty God destroys, both body and soul, are not spoken of as asleep in death in Hades, for there will be no awakening of them out of their destruction. (Matt. 10:28) Hence God’s written Word holds out no hope of a resurrection for those fighters against God who are executed in the “war of the great day of God the Almighty,” at Armageddon. (Rev. 16:14, 16; 19:11-21) Concerning the coming of the Son of God, Jesus Christ, to the executional battle of Armageddon, Jesus spoke in his prophecy on the conclusion of this wicked system of things. Jesus said:
So...nvm?
Everyone outside that denies them, are "fighters against God" are they not?
14 Jesus declares that what awaits these symbolic “goats” at his left hand of cursedness is the “fire prepared for the Devil and his angels.” They have given no moral support to God’s Messianic kingdom and have thereby proved themselves to be a part of this world of which Satan the Devil is the invisible “ruler.” (John 12:31; 14:30; 16:11) This wicked world under Satan the Devil is doomed to destruction in the “great tribulation” that is just ahead. The “goats” will enter into that “fire” of destruction when they get into that “great tribulation such as has not occurred since the world’s beginning until now, no, nor will occur again.” (Matthew 24:21; Mark 13:19) They refuse to acknowledge and recognize God as Jehovah, whose name presents itself thousands of times in the inspired Hebrew Scriptures of the Holy Bible, and they refuse to obey or conform to the good news about the Lord Jesus Christ. At the revelation of the power and authority of the invisibly present Christ in the “great tribulation,” the “goats” will experience what the apostle Paul foretold, in 2 Thessalonians 1:7-10:
Hm…seems like their Jesus has something in common with the Satan.
The name is fake… they admit it (page "the name").
They want them to obey their false god.
The goats, are the people that didn't help others, such as the sick, the widows, the orphans, the people in prison. Their works are weak. They only boast and condemn others and look down on anyone on the outside, and hope to have the houses of the people they hate that turn them down at the door and count them all as enemies… not praying for any of them.
Let someone ask their followers, "If GB said to kill your grandchildren of your non-JW family, would you follow through?", if the answer is yes, because that's what Jehovah told them and they must obey, they are in fact and plainly in a cult. Period. Not just this post, but all these posts make that 100% clear. My advice as any normal person should have after all this, to anyone having to be around this religion, especially when they are saying the end is here now that Trump is in office, is get out, remove yourselves from them and cut ties. With this influence behind their reasoning, they will not stop at anything. Nor any other Christian thinking along the same thing in other denominations. How else do you think the crusades were able to go as long as they did, and go unaccountable for what was done? It was by people like this.
