NOTE: I do not subscribe to any religion. I once believed in Masoretic Text translations until I dug deeper and came to a different conclusion during my search through Christian denominational teachings, their leaders, and the roots of how they started, while reading the Bible itself verse by verse a few times (many translations) or more to match up their beliefs to the spiritual book they claim to follow and believe in themselves. If you ask me what I believe, I would say what the scholarly census has agreed upon, even if the decision board doesn't agree with them because they're worried about the faith of humanity for what they were taught to believe despite it contradicting evidence. Anything I've studied, watched, read is added here to help you see how I got to this point to help others who are curious too.
(Their own literature/articles on their doctrine with my raw commentary/notes in blue. Sorry if I get sassy, you're getting my straight thought on my own site. I tried, k?)

11 The Sacred Scriptures hold out no hope of a resurrection for Cain the murderer, but what about Cain’s father and mother, Adam and Eve, our own first human parents? This is a much discussed question today. Do Adam and Eve deserve a resurrection? Do they come within the loving provision of God for the resurrection of the human dead? What, if anything, stands as an irremovable bar to their being raised from the dead under God’s kingdom? Since Jesus Christ “gave himself a corresponding ransom for all,” do not our first human parents have a right to some benefit from that “ransom for all”?—1 Tim. 2:5, 6.
They admit "for all" and why are they trying to guess?.
Double Speak?
The willing support given to anointed Christians by their companions of the other sheep was foretold by the prophet Isaiah. He wrote: “This is what Jehovah has said: ‘The unpaid laborers of Egypt and the merchants of Ethiopia and the Sabeans, tall men, will themselves come over even to you, and yours they will become. Behind you they will walk.’” (Isa. 45:14) In a symbolic way, Christians with an earthly hope today walk behind the anointed slave class and its Governing Body, following their leadership. As “unpaid laborers,” the other sheep willingly and wholeheartedly expend their strength and their resources in support of the worldwide preaching work that Christ assigned to his anointed followers on earth.—Acts 1:8; Rev. 12:17.
They exploit them in every way to push their works, and rip away their own anointing that is free for them.
Taking verse out of context. THEY ARE NOT children of Israel/jews. They are gatekeeping by making two classes of "Christians" with their replacement theology.
5 Of course, the Bible Students also discerned from the Scriptures that some would be “bought from the earth” to rule with Jesus in heaven. (Rev. 14:3) That group would be made up of 144,000 zealous and dedicated Christians who had served God faithfully while on earth. What about the great crowd? The Bible Students thought that the great crowd must be made up of Christians who had not been fully obedient to God while on earth. Although leading reasonably clean lives, some of them may have remained in Christendom’s churches. The Bible Students concluded that such ones demonstrated a measure of zeal but not enough to rule with Jesus. Because their love for God had not been sufficiently fervent, the great crowd would qualify to be in heaven before the throne but not to sit on thrones.
As far as I know, especially from my "only ones?" post…if anyone is not in their organization, they are not of the great crowd.
Breakdown w/notes
8 Thus, the Bible Students felt that there were three groups: (1) the 144,000, who would rule with Jesus in heaven; (2) the great crowd of less zealous Christians, who would stand before the throne of Jesus in heaven; and (3) millions of people who would be educated in Jehovah’s ways on earth during Christ’s Thousand Year Reign.b In Jehovah’s due time, however, the light of truth began to shine ever brighter on this topic.—Prov. 4:18.
9 In 1935 the identity of the great crowd in John’s vision was clarified. Jehovah’s Witnesses came to realize that the great crowd do not literally have to be in heaven to stand “before the throne and before the Lamb.” Rather, their position is figurative. Even though they would live on earth, the great crowd could stand “before the throne” by recognizing Jehovah’s authority and by submitting to his sovereignty. (Isa. 66:1) They could stand “before the Lamb” by exercising faith in Jesus’ ransom sacrifice. Similarly, at Matthew 25:31, 32, “all the nations”—including the wicked—are said to be “gathered before” Jesus on his glorious throne. Clearly, all these nations are, not in heaven, but on earth. This adjusted understanding makes sense. It explains why the Bible does not say that the great crowd is raised to heaven. Only one group is promised everlasting life in heaven—the 144,000, who will “rule as kings over the earth” with Jesus.—Rev. 5:10.
10. Why would it be necessary for the great crowd to be educated in Jehovah’s ways before the Millennium?
10 Since 1935, Jehovah’s Witnesses have thus understood that the great crowd of John’s vision is made up of a group of faithful Christians who have the prospect of living forever on earth. In order to survive the great tribulation, the great crowd would have to be educated in Jehovah’s ways before the Millennium begins. They would need to show strong faith in order to “succeed in escaping all these things that must occur” before Christ’s Thousand Year Reign.—Luke 21:34-36.
So, are they not admitting that the throne is on earth? Where Jesus rules?
"clearly"? How many years had gone by since they thought this? Since 1874?
Great crowds figurative but not 144k?
"recognizing gods authority" … them.
By works.
"adjusted understanding"……..
One group that was promised… were jews.
Nooowww the great crowd is faithful. Wait…maybe faithful, faithful for their lives?
Survive it? That 144k comes out of it.
Why before?
This is fearmongering.
11 What about the view that some exemplary ones on earth would be raised to heaven after the Millennium? That possibility was suggested years ago in the February 15, 1913, issue of The Watch Tower. One could have reasoned, ‘Why would faithful men of old receive a mere earthly inheritance but Christians who were somewhat negligent be rewarded with life in heaven?’ Of course, that thinking was influenced by two incorrect assumptions: (1) that the great crowd would reside in heaven and (2) that the great crowd would be made up of less zealous Christians.
You could only search this on the internet archive, so you wouldn’t know that these were the founders' ideas…as in Charles T Russell, their first "FDS" that didn't even recognize he was the 1 sourced mistaken channel and said every one of them was at that time.
********************
14 Faithful men and women have long been intensely curious about the “great crowd” (“great multitude,” King James Version) mentioned at Revelation 7:9-14. Not surprisingly, before it was Christ’s time to reveal the identity of this large group, much that was said on the subject veered wide of the clear, simple truths we know and love today.
15 In 1917, the book The Finished Mystery asserted that there are “two degrees or kinds of Heavenly salvation, and two degrees or kinds of earthly salvation.” Who made up the four groups of people with those different hopes for salvation? First, there were the 144,000, who would rule with Christ. Second, there was the great multitude. Back then, the idea was that these were nominal Christians who were still in the churches of Christendom. They had a measure of faith but not enough to take a firm stand of integrity. Therefore, they would be given lesser positions in heaven. As to the earth, it was thought that a third group, the “ancient worthies”—such faithful ones as Abraham, Moses, and others—would have positions of authority over the fourth group, the world of mankind.
16. What flashes of spiritual light came in 1923 and in 1932?
16 How did holy spirit guide Christ’s followers to the understanding that we cherish today? It happened progressively, through a series of flashes of spiritual light. As early as 1923, The Watch Tower drew attention to a group with no heavenly aspirations who would live on earth under Christ’s reign. In 1932, The Watchtower discussed Jonadab (Jehonadab), who attached himself to God’s anointed Israelite King Jehu to support him in the war against false worship. (2 Ki. 10:15-17) The article said that there was a class of people in modern times who were like Jonadab, adding that Jehovah would take this class “through the Armageddon trouble” to live here on the earth.
There are 4 groups, were 3. The patriarchs don’t get to rule with Christ, even though the promise was made to THE FATHERS OF CHILDREN OF ISRAEL.
They replaced the true founding fathers.
Now they are teachers? That have to earn their proof of faith?
Their doctrine founders "veered wide"? How was it the truth?
Flashes of spiritual light, sounds so new age.
If they are not inspired nor infallible, how is that holy spirit? That would be inspired.
Why would God wait… especially since the bible has all we need to know. To go beyond that is to add speculation.
Jehu…. this is a HUGE great awakening thing… HUGE Americanized Christianity thing, especially today. It's made its rounds throughout history, such as the government made religious group to wipe out the "age of enlightenment" after the "reign of terror", I think the government made group caused "white terror" in the whole Napolean time frame. It's how they got everything put back together after "lefty" like movements took over for some time and removed the pope, this group and Napolean replaced the pope. THEY are saying the "anointed" or "great crowd", but I think they're saying "anointed class" will be taking the "great crowd" through "Armageddon" which is the same thing that the Hard Right-wing conservative "Christians" are following as well with their false prophets that are heavy fake prophesying about Trump, Russia being Gog and Magog… etc. This is dangerous. And maybe why they're speaking more on Jesus to unite with them later since invisible Jesus and GB is their thing. Though they too are trying to bring the kingdom of God down themselves, and their messiah is trump.
18 God’s anointed servants will soon be able to return the kindness shown them by those of the “other sheep.” (John 10:16) How so? Before the war of Armageddon begins, all of the 144,000 will have been raised to heaven as immortal spirits. They will then be part of the heavenly armies that will crush Gog and safeguard “a great crowd” of sheeplike ones. (Rev. 2:26, 27; 7:9, 10) Yes, what a privilege the great crowd will have had to support Jehovah’s anointed servants while these were still on earth!
The thunder bros were told, that if they want to be the greatest in the kingdom of God, they must be the servant of all? But they're saying, they're serving GB now, and later on after they are dead, GB will be able to do something for people.
Return the kindness to them, by genocide the rest of the world as spirit beings?
I had it switched around, the "anointed" think they are the Jonadab person? But acting like jehu. Either way it’s the same thing, to kill everyone in the name of God. This is how Hitler got people to kill Jews.
"will have had to support J's anointed", literal slaves. Free labor…abuse…punishment. Fearmongered slaves and these old men will "safeguard" them after they are dead. As "spirits", though the whole point is to have our BODIES NOT DECAY.
Breakdown w/notes
With the abyssing of Satan the thousand years of the Messianic reign will begin. The small number of spiritual brothers of Jesus Christ remaining on earth, along with their companions, the “great crowd,” who look for blessings on earth under God’s kingdom, will work initially toward beautifying the earth as a paradise garden. Then the resurrection of the dead will begin. The apostle John reports on his vision of this: “And the sea gave up those dead in it, and death and Hades gave up those dead in them, and they were judged individually according to their deeds.”—Rev. 20:13.
They've gone straight to what happens after?
What's highlighted, is a sure way to keep these charades going for however long they want. They can say and make them think at ANY time, that the reign began…again? And get them to start shoveling bodies and start making things pretty again for the last battle (they don't mention), and apparently their broadcast compounds are still around and made it through the world's destruction.
Those perfected humans on earth who maintain their integrity and prove faithful to God’s rightful rule will be declared righteous by the Supreme Judge, Jehovah God. These innocent ones He will declare to be worthy of eternal life, and He will assign to them the right to endless life in happiness in the earthly Paradise. Free of all condemnation, these obedient ones will then really live from God’s perfect standpoint. In this manner it is, then, that “the rest of the dead [aside from those enjoying the heavenly resurrection] did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.” (Rev. 20:5) This expression applies to the “great crowd” of Armageddon survivors as well as to the resurrected ones.
The crowd that went through the great trib after being sealed(the 144k), are actually their "rank and file", that were safeguarded by the 144k once Satan went to his pit, were perfected enough by their works of proving their faith for their lives by obeying the "anointed" or "FDS", have finally been approved? To be considered to be part of the last resurrection that is actually not physical… just a … symbolic average person finally turned better in their doctrine. Then that there also is physical resurrected?
But those perfected humans who do not faithfully pass the test of godly loyalty during the “little while” that Satan is released after the thousand years are ended will be everlastingly destroyed, just as John in his preview presents the matter, saying: “And death and Hades were hurled into the lake of fire. This means the second death, the lake of fire. Furthermore, whoever was not found written in the book of life was hurled into the lake of fire.” (Rev. 20:14, 15) So these disloyal ones do not attain to life eternal.
He does come out (I hardly hear this) and perfected humans that worked their butts off for old men, fail. "apostates"?
If they were faithful Christians and Jesus was down here with them. Is Jesus down here, invisibly? Did they say he was going to be down here after Satan goes into the abyss? They didn't………..
They could run this show for how everrrrr long they want and call ANYONE Satan and ANYONE "anointed" and ANYONE "disloyal/apostates" for how ever long they want.
Not to mention, alllllll this stuff between the key points that are crisscrossed…SPECULATION A.K.A. ADDITION TO THE BIBLE.
*****************
“Those who have been counted worthy of gaining . . . the resurrection from the dead.” Faithful anointed ones are “counted worthy of the Kingdom of God.” (2 Thessalonians 1:5, 11) Because of Christ’s ransom sacrifice, God views the anointed as righteous. When they die, God views them as being free from sin. (Romans 5:1, 18; 8:1) Anointed ones are called “happy and holy” and are viewed as worthy of a resurrection to heaven. (Revelation 20:5, 6) This cannot be said about those who are resurrected to life on earth, because they will include “the unrighteous.” (Acts 24:15) Can such “unrighteous” ones be “counted worthy” of a resurrection?
That’s not what that scripture says. Says first rez, not the kingdom of God. Cherry-picked.
"anointed class" when it means all who believe.
They're also taking the roman verses out of context, if all we had to do was die, then why send Jesus? His blood free's us from sin, our watery tomb mimics death, that’s how we die to self, the first death isn't something to bother us, and we are saved from second after judgement. If there were to only be a priest class, of Jews, and after 70AD persecution with the death of the last apostle, perhaps the rest of the gentiles are the great crowd, and that makes two. But still, his blood free's us from sin, and we face no judgement when he comes for we are forgiven, where the ones that didn't come to belief will owe something. The ones that were hypocrites, by its true definition of religious turds that know exactly what they were doing, they will suffer the second death. The ones that got caught up in the evilness but didn't know, per Lukes "faithful discreet slave" cross reference, they will be forgiven but owe something.
“Neither can they die anymore.” Jesus did not say: “They will not die anymore.” Rather, he said: “Neither can they die anymore.” Other translations render that phrase “they are not subject to death any longer” and “death has no more power over them.” Anointed ones who remain faithful are resurrected to heaven. There they will be immortal. This means that they cannot die and that their life cannot be destroyed. (1 Corinthians 15:53, 54) Death has no power over those resurrected to heaven.c—See footnote.
They only think they will have everlasting life and go to heaven. There is no going to heaven…and they are keeping it to one class that THINKS they are worthy of ruling next to his side. When not even Jesus can tell who will be.
Those verses do not say anything about being resurrected to heaven, only how at his return, we will be changed.
First, the Sadducees were probably thinking about a resurrection on earth, so why would Jesus refer to a resurrection to heaven? Jesus did not always answer his enemies according to their way of thinking. For example, when some Jews asked Jesus to perform a miracle, he said: “Tear down this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.” Jesus likely knew that they were thinking about the temple building, “but he was talking about the temple of his body.” (John 2:18-21) Maybe Jesus did not feel that he had to answer the Sadducees, who were hypocrites. After all, they did not believe in the resurrection or in the existence of angels. (Proverbs 23:9; Matthew 7:6; Acts 23:8) Instead, Jesus may have wanted to provide his disciples with details about the resurrection to heaven. They were sincere ones who would have the hope of going to heaven
They didn't bring up heaven at all, but "like angels in heaven" meaning, them specifically, not HEAVEN.
"Probably thought"?
Surprised they let "body" stay in the verse since they don’t believe in his body being rezzed.
They dont want people to know, it meant to not own women or children, for women and men are equa in Gods eyes.
Gal 3:28
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
The Jews had knowledge and hope of an earthly resurrection, even though these opposing Sadducees did not accept the resurrection hope plainly set out in the Hebrew Scriptures. (Isa. 25:8; Job 14:13; Dan. 12:13) In his reply Jesus did not avoid answering their question by speaking about the resurrection to heavenly life. They had presented a problem involving Jews under the Mosaic law who died before Jesus opened the way to heavenly life, and Christ logically replied on this basis: “In the resurrection neither do men marry nor are women given in marriage but are as angels in heaven.”—Matt. 22:30.
Change "like" to "are as angels" when he means, they are equals to him, no one is owning one another. Same in Luke 20:34-36. For their doctrine bias.
Further showing that Jesus had in mind an earthly resurrection, as recorded at Matthew 22:31, 32 and Luke 20:37, 38, he referred to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and proved by the information that Moses was given at the burning bush that these patriarchs would be resurrected from the dead. Well, what Scriptural hope is there for these men? They will have an earthly resurrection, having died before Jesus opened the way to heavenly life or held out that hope for a small number of mankind. (Matt. 11:11; Acts 2:34; Heb. 10:19, 20) So the entire discussion here is about an earthly resurrection and not about a resurrection that results in life in heaven with the angels there.
Probably because he doesn’t TEACH a heavenly rez and earthly rez.
They are putting themselves in the place of the true forefathers.
Additionally, the ones who are resurrected to earthly life and who prove their integrity to God through the millennium and the final test to follow will be recognized by God as being righteous and so will be given everlasting life. (Rev. 20:5, 7-10) When once Jehovah has declared them righteous by recognizing their human perfection and righteousness, no other person in heaven or on earth can destroy them without God’s permission and according to his will. (Rom. 8:33) The angels are mortal, as proved by the fact that Satan and the demons will be destroyed. (Matt. 25:41) Despite their mortality the faithful angels live on forever. Those resurrected to earthly life who are declared righteous by God will live and be blessed by Jehovah forever even though they are mortal like the angels.
They are not done with your works yet.
No. They are not mortal, hence why they're in an abyss from the times of the flood to wait to be judged to be blinked out of existence forever 2nd death (there is a difference), like those that want to join and be continually deceived by them, most likely, knowing God and going against Him and his children. He will end them after all is said and done.
By faith, and in faith, you do works by your acts of faith like Abraham offering his son because of the faith he had! Not because they help with the microphone. They start at the same point as the rezzed bad people, after all this time?
Your heavenly hope is that you are recognized by God and in the book that is IN HEAVEN.
If paradise is Eden… do they not know that’s Gods kingdom…and to be rezzed in an earthly rez, on paradise, would be Gods kingdom…on earth?
22 Most of those who will obediently assemble on April 10 do not have that hope, for God has not anointed them with spirit, calling them to heavenly life. As we noted, God began selecting the 144,000 back in the apostles’ day. But upon the completion of that calling, it is to be expected that others coming to worship him would have the hope held by Moses, David, John the Baptizer, and other faithful ones who died before Jesus opened the way to life in heaven. Thus, millions of loyal and zealous Christians today do not partake of the Memorial emblems. Such Christians discern what they are before God in the sense that they perceive their valid hope. They benefit from Jesus’ blood and body by having their sins forgiven and then gaining endless life on earth.—1 Peter 1:19; 2:24; Revelation 7:9, 15.
But not washed cleaned by the blood.
Anyone who believes, been baptized, can receive holy spirit.
They take the place of the chosen, the rightful heirs that God continued to say they would be given the promise. Never in OT was there a heavenly hope, why would God change?
They understand they are not partaking for the reasons they should.
To benefit, you should partake.

About 50 people a year on the entire earth are "true Christians"? (They before were telling anyone being baptized had a seat in heaven till numbers didn't add up.)
Then they came up with the teaching of the "Great Crowd"
So, what about the Christians persecuted before? Their numbers were…. HUGE. They have articles on it with numbers

Let's go back to 135880 with the historic records of the Christians put to death

Questions From Readers
● According to the article “Hated for His Name” in the September 1, 1951, Watchtower, hundreds of thousands of Christians died in the “ten persecutions” starting in Nero’s time, 144,000 dying in Egypt alone during one of the persecutions.
I would say then…THESE ARE THE 144000 and the rest are the GREAT CROWD
How can this be harmonized with the Scriptural limitation of 144,000 placed on the number being in Christ’s body, and which position was the only one open to Christians during those centuries?
Maybe since none of the apostles SAID ANYTHING ABOUT IT it WASN’T US TO BEGIN WITH OR ANYTHING To TALK ABOUT.
—J.A., Dominican Republic.
The article did not class with any finality the individuals that died during these persecutions, but spoke of the results in a general way. Note that a key qualification was made in the case referred to in the question: “In the province of Egypt alone, 144,000 such professed Christians
So now they're just using the demeaning term they use for all other denominations for legit Christians now?
died by violence in the course of this persecution, in addition to another 700,000 who died as a result of fatigues encountered in banishment or under enforced public works.” The victims are identified as “professed Christians”, not Christians in fact.
Bold. Probably more Christian than ANY OF US.
Many of those persons might have been caught in the wave of persecution, but may never have actually preached the truth or followed in Jesus’ footsteps, being only professed Christians. They knew the world they lived in was rotten and they were listening to the message of the Christians and willing to die for it even though not in line for the high calling in Christ Jesus.
My God…. They heard the message and believed and were saved.
What's the point of even being a follower?
Many professed Christians today might be willing to die for their faith, but still not be Jesus’ footstep followers and meeting the Scriptural requirements for such.
To believe, be baptized and you'll be saved?
Bold… real bold.
There were ten waves of persecutions, they knew they would die for his name. It is clear in the bible, Christians will die.
Apparently it left them no choice to make another secondary Christian, through them.
They wrote this question themselves; they caught their mistake and made the question up to make it look like they had the answer the whole time.
They do not acknowledge any "professed Christians" today.
In 2000 years, they are the only ones to truly follow Christ?
They commend the people in articles for dying for their faith, in order to justify dying for them, yet here, they're just no one.
It wasn't just a handful of people; these people screwed the economy up with their idol sells down.
So, when 1935 changed, the number went down, and they used it as one of the signs of the end coming. You open the yearbook up and the number dropping was a leading indicator. Today its pushing almost 20k+ people partaking thinking they are the 144000. Why would they even let women when their artwork shows the 144000 are white men?
They say they have emotional issues and unstable. They don’t even have respect for the "anointed" cept for the faithful and discreet slave now. They only matter.
If All Christians are not all anointed then 2Co_1:1-24has no need to be in the bible, particularity 2Co_1:21-22 Vrs 24 "for you stand firm in your faith" now tell me.... what is their faith they've been told this whole time to have? the hope... what is the hope? For whom? only one group of believers? or all?
Deu 29:10-15
“You stand today, all of you, before the LORD your God: your heads, your tribes, your elders and your officers, that is, all the men of Israel, your little ones, your wives, and the stranger who is within your camps, from the one who gathers your firewood to the one who draws your water, so that you may enter into the covenant with the LORD your God, and into His oath which the LORD your God is making with you today, in order that He may establish you today as His people, and that He may be your God, just as He spoke to you and as He swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
“Now it is not with you alone that I am making this covenant and this oath, but both with those who stand here with us today in the presence of the LORD our God, and with those who are not with us here today;
